Lana Blinderman, known as Ex Factory Creative, is a graphic designer and photographer whose creative aesthetics were shaped by modernism and Bauhaus architecture as experienced in Eastern Europe, Middle East and the United States. Lana loves nature, but has spent most of her life in larger or smaller cities and come to feel more comfortable among tall buildings than under open skies. Now in the Pacific Northwest, she loves to roam industrial wastelands for visual gems of abandoned factories, crumbling offices and stubborn urban revival. 35mm and 6x7 film cameras as well as a modern DSLR are all weapons in her creative arsenal. Most of Lana's work is not what one would call pretty. Instead, it calls out to people who appreciate tough, gritty urbanity as much as she does.
