Janna Howell graduated in 1981 with a degree in Theater Arts from Humboldt State University. She lives in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle.
Decoupage feeds Janna's lust for rich color, classical symmetry, intricate designs and sometimes more than a little glitz. After burning out on sewing as a hobby, she turned to decoupage after stumbling upon a box her grandmother had done in the 1970s.
The advent of the color copier and advances in craft technology have made the possibilities for decoupage as a decorative art endless, and Janna is determined to rescue decoupage from it's current bad reputation.
