My name is Emily and I design vintage-inspired jewelry using authentic costume jewelry from the Hollywood Glamour Era. My Etsy shop is Lady Bejewel. I fell in love with vintage costume jewelry 2 years ago when my sister gave me a brooch for my birthday and I've never been the same since!
My background is in apparel design and I've worked in the field for 25 years. Now, I design jewelry and it's a very gratifying experience. Not only do I get to go treasure hunting for these "beautiful vintage ladies" ( as I affectionately call them), but I also get to transform them into one-of-a-kind pieces of fashion history.
My creative space is an art closet that my carpenter husband built for me on our 1 acre farm in Kent, Washington. Most mornings you can find me outside playing fetch with our daughter's adorable 1 year old puppy, Harley, before my day begins.
