Sewing

Bring in your old sports, school & event t-shirts and learn to make a simple flannel-backed quilt. This TWO-PART class will teach you basic cutting, piecing, and design elements of quilt making, and give those nostalgic tees a new life. Students will need to provide their own t-shirts, sweatshirts or jerseys (16 – 30), 3-4 yards of your choice of flannel, and batting of your choice. All other materials & treats are provided! Cost $120

Have you wanted to learn the basics of sewing? Here’s a good place to start! The instructor will guide you through the mechanics of the machine, fabric types, plus tools and techniques to get your sewing projects underway. You will complete a simple snap-buttoned pouch to show off your new skills. Do you have a sewing machine at home you need some help figuring out? Bring it along! Cost $60

Limited instruction is available, but we will help troubleshoot as you work. Pre-registration is not required! Just drop in with your supplies and inspiration.
