Quilling is an Renaissance art form that uses of strips of paper that are rolled to create designs. The paper is wound around a quill to create a basic coil shape that is then glued at the tip and shaped. We will be making four cards with flowers, animals and decorative designs. Supply list provided upon enrollment.

EtsyRAIN Pre-Holiday Art & Craft Show

EtsyRAIN will host a Pre-Holiday Art & Craft Show from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, October 16-17th.

The EtsyRAIN Art & Craft Show will be held in the lobby and the fountain courtyard at the beautiful Intiman Theatre, located at 201 Mercer Street in Seattle.

The first 50 people in line each day will receive a swag bag filled with awesome stuff from our EtsyRAIN members.

Family Craft: Make An Accordion Book

Make a personalized book to journal or sketch in! We will fold the pages and decorate the covers with colorful paper and ribbon. (Children should be accompanied by an adult). Cost $20

The Nature of Things is a series of works depicting a world of innocence & impurity interpreted through silhouette paper-cuts, collage, embroidery & sculpture.

Bookbinding Basics: Softcover Edition

Learn traditional bookbinding techniques in this introductory class. We’ll focus on soft covered styles: pamphlet stitch, Japanese stab binding, and tear away booklets. These archival, acid-free books make great keepsake journals, scrapbooks or sketchbooks. Cost is $80 for workshop (includes all supplies, Assemble badge & snacks).
