My name is Jodie Henry and my Etsy shop is http://jhenrydesigns.etsy.com. I create soldered jewelry (and other sorts) and am having a blast. I am a graphic designer by trade and have been for almost 15 years. After being laid off in Jan 09 (4th time in 10 years) I've decided to go the freelance route...and also start doing what I LOVE! So I make jewelry with birds, butterflies...and um...scooters.

Artisan Gift Show

Handcrafted art a special gift The default Valentine’s Day gift choices are chocolate, flowers and dinner. Nice options, but not very creative. And certainly none of them will last very long! But a hand-sewn quilt, a handcrafted necklace or a handmade piece of pottery will evoke warm memories for the recipient for years to come. A portion of the booth fees paid by each artist will be donated to Eastside Domestic Violence Program, (EDVP) What will you find at the Artisan Gift Show?

Have you always wanted to play with sharp tools but your mother wouldn't let you? Learn to use linoloeum cutting tools and barins safely and get the results you want. Get an overview of relief block printing that touches on composition, technique and individual style as well as the basics of rolling, hand printing and printing on the press. This workshop will emphasize how to adapt this process to a home environment. Prerequisite: None
