Knitting Project: Castaway Scarf

Learn to knit in this TWO PART class by completing a simple buttoned scarflette. Students will learn basic knit and purl, casting on and off, and making button holes. A beginning, hands-on tutorial session will be followed up with a project work session. Cost $100

Session 1: Monday, September 20th from 6-8pm
Session 2: Monday September 27th from 6-8pm

Please register online, in person or over the phone at least 24 hours in advance to avoid workshop cancellation.

Beginning Knitting

You can knit! You will be making either a felted tote bag or backpack in this class with a few simple skills. The objective of this class is to get you comfortable with the knitting needles, learn the basic stitch which all other stitches derive, and have a bag you’ll be proud to say "I made it myself!" There is no prerequisite to take this class and is designed to get you knitting! Two 2 ½ - hour sessions. Fee: $30 We require pre-registration for all of our classes.
